Celebrate The Season
My inspiration for this years’s holiday tablescape is this April Cornell tablecloth and napkins. I found them at the end of the season last year at Home Goods. I don’t typically use a lot of red (even though I love it for Christmas) but there was just something about this beautiful fabric that spoke to me. Red with a touch of light pink and seasonal greens.
I used a natural placemat to mix up the texture for my place-setting. I used two different charger plates on the table. The one above is bright white to frame the Pioneer Woman scalloped red plate.
On the end of the table place-settings I used a more natural charger to tie in with the natural placemat. You could use all white chargers or all neutral. I like to shake it up a little and show you two different examples.
Fruit is an inexpensive way to brighten up your holiday table. Real cranberries make for the perfect filler for my Christmas centerpiece. I used white roses in 3 different vintage glasses. (from my Mom’s collection) You can always replace the roses with floating white candles.
