Don’t blink or you’ll miss it! Bean Blossom is located outside of Nashville, Indiana in Brown County.

My husband’s love for Bluegrass all started when he was 16. He attended his first Bill Monroe’s Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival. As he got older he would pack up our motorhome and didn’t miss a festival. While I’m not a huge bluegrass fan, I did do my part for the festival. I would go set up his camp site with flowers and lights. I made sure he and his friends had plenty of yummy food. Let’s put it this way, it really didn’t look like a man’s campsite but it sure was pretty. He would admit it did become the popular hang out for jam sessions. People come from all over the country to attend this prestigious festival.
