You can’t eat just one…Persimmon Cookies
PERSIMMON COOKIES
Ingredients
- 1 cup persimmon pulp
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. of each: cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream sugars and butter. Add egg and mix well.
- Mix persimmon pulp and soda and add to creamed mixture.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cookies will darken after removal from the oven. DO NOT OVER BAKE.
Grab a big glass of milk!
