Star of the Party

The Holiday party scene may look a little different in 2020 but this dip is a must whether you are entertaining or not.

Every year we look forward to Christmas parties hosted by our neighbors Bill and Jerry. (Go to “DECOR” and take a look at their Christmas House.) This dip is one of my favorites and is is so easy to make. It will be the star of your next party. It’s great on crackers but I love to spread it on toasted bread rounds.

JERRY'S HOLIDAY HAM AND SWISS DIP

Ingredients

Jerry's Holiday Ham and Swiss Dip

• 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
• 3/4 cup miracle whip
• 1/2 cup diced ham
• 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
• 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
• 3/4 cups crushed Wheat Thins
• 2 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

1. Mix all ingredients with the exception of Wheat Thins and butter.
2. Crush Wheat Thins and mix with melted butter.
3. Spray a  9 x 9 baking dish. Spread mixture and cover the top with Wheat Thins. 
4. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

Notes:

Serve with a variety of crackers or toasted bread rounds.
