Can’t have Cake without the Punch!

PRETTY IN PINK PARTY PUNCH

Ingredients

  • 6 c. pink raspberry lemonade (such as Simply Lemonade)
  • 2 c. lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite)
  • 2 quarts raspberry sherbet

Instructions

  1. In a large glass punch bowl, mix the lemonade and lemon-lime soda.
  2. Add in half of the sherbet, and stir well to make frothy.
  3. Add in small scoops of the remaining well-frozen little sherbet balls.
  4. (I froze small scoops of sherbet ahead of time using a small ice cream scoop to make sherbet balls to add just before serving)

I remember when I was a little girl and you went to a wedding reception you just had cake and punch (Am I aging myself) Oh there may have been a bowl of those butter mints too. Today’s bride wouldn’t begin to think of having JUST cake and punch. I LOVE punch and this is one of my favorites.
