WHAT IS A TABLESCAPE?
It’s an artistic arrangement of articles on a table. It can combine linens, centerpieces and place settings to create the overall appearance for any occasion.

HOW TO CREATE A TABLESCAPE.
Choose your theme or color scheme.
Find an inspiration piece. It could be special plates that help you determine a color scheme. It could be seasonal flowers or vegetables. A favorite tablecloth might help you determine your color scheme. A knick knack around the house might be the focal point.
Start with a clean slate. It can be your kitchen table, dining room table or a rustic outdoor table.
Place a tablecloth, table runner or placemats (I’ve even used old quilts) as your foundation.
Build your centerpiece. Remember a centerpiece doesn’t have to always mean flowers.
Add place settings. I love to layer with different plates and colors. You can never go wrong with all white for a fresh clean look.
Accessorize by adding napkin rings. They don’t have to be store bought rings. There are many items you can use to embellish napkins. I like to use twine for a rustic look. I add in a spring up herbs. Fancy ribbon also adds the perfect touch to napkins.
Don’t forget to make it personal. Make your guest feel extra special with name cards.
